Description:


The Work will consist of closure of Otero Greentree Regional Landfill Cells No. 1 and No. 2. Closure activities entail the preparation of the intermediate surface compaction and the installation of a 24-inch thick compacted barrier soil layer overlaid with a 6-inch thick topsoil vegetation layer. Drainage infrastructure, such as grading, should be installed in an effort to promote positive drainage patterns routing runoff to existing drainage swales located adjacent to the cells.
