 The approximate extent and character of the Work is generally described as follows:

Fairmont Heritage Park bathroom facility

This project consists of the construction of a new restroom pavilion, 411 LF of 6” PVC sewer lateral, 81 LF of 1” PVC water service and related appurtenances, and related grading and erosion control for the construction.

Thomaston Mills village Park

This project consists of the construction of a new restroom pavilion, 29 LF of 6” PVC sewer lateral, 80 LF of 4” PVC sewer lateral, 102 LF of 3/4” PVC water service and related appurtenances, and related grading and erosion control for the construction.

Carver Road Dog Park

This project consists of the construction of a new restroom pavilion, 17 LF of 6” PVC sewer lateral, 202 LF of 4” PVC sewer lateral, 466 LF of 3/4” PVC water service and related appurtenances, and related grading and erosion control for the construction. The park will also include grading of a gravel drive and parking area associated with the dog park.

Pre-Bid Meeting Details: A pre-bid meeting will be held on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at 10:00 am in Room 108 of the Spalding County Annex building, 119 E. Solomon Street, Griffin, GA 30223. Although attendance at the pre-bid meeting is not mandatory, all interested parties are strongly urged to attend, as important requirements will be discussed and attendance is part of the evaluation criteria.
