Description: The Town of Brunson is soliciting sealed and competitive bids from qualified contractors to make improvements to the town-owned playground and basketball court at the Brunson Town Hall, 686 North Railroad Avenue, Brunson, South Carolina 29911 on Friday, September 8, 2023, at 2:30PM, then at said office to be publicly opened and read aloud. The improvements will make the park inclusive to all users. The existing playground and basketball court are located at 483 North Broad Road in the Town of Brunson, SC. The existing playground area has a play system, 2 swing sets, a standalone slide, seesaw, merry-go-round, and 2 rocking animals. All existing equipment will remain and an ADA accessible play system, ADA accessible merry-go-round and ADA accessible swing set will be added. The scope of work for this project will consist of site work, installing additional playground equipment, adding lighting, and upgrading the basketball court for the Town of Brunson Park Improvements Project – CDBG #4-SP-21-002.
