Description: The City is seeking a qualified organization to construct the Kelsey Avenue Ecosystem Restoration Project. The main construction activities include the replacement/installation of 192 LF of (1) 10’ x 6’ precast concrete box culvert, 65 LF of (1) 12’ x 5’ precast concrete box culvert, and construction of about 970 feet of stream restoration. Stream restoration features include stone step pools, imbricated rock walls, rock cross vanes, riffle grade controls, log vanes, pipes, check dams, and planting of both wetland and upland permanent vegetation. In addition to the main construction activities, the project includes construction of a dry detention basin, bio-retention cells, and the relocation of a section(s) of sewer line. All activities include the implementation of sediment and erosion control practices on site in accordance with the Manual for Erosion and Sediment Control in Georgia.
