Type of Addition: Questions from Pre-Bid Meeting

Will you guys add in an addendum to the bid for wireless control? The hardware listed in the spec contains wireless components. If you are bidding solutions to match the hardware, then it should meet that requirement.

So we are home running the entire system back to rack room? Yes, the speakers and core systems will be housed in a rack provided in the storage area. The desire is for the controls to be wireless.

Can you discuss allowing alternates or substitutions for the equipment? As long are the piece of hardware has equivalent specs as the requested piece of hardware, then we are interested in looking at your solution. For example, If you have a speaker that has the same specs as the one in our big, but a different brand, then you may use it in your quote.

Also are we responsible for conduit runs? No you will not be responsible for conduit runs.

Question: Hello! This is Aaron from Sweetwater. We carry Sennheiser, Denon, Soundcraft, JBL, Crown, AKG, Whirlwind and can help with the XLR connectors. Will you take bids by line item, or do you require a complete quote of all requested items? Thanks!
Response: Bid must be complete. Items can be substituted with other brands of equal quality.

Question: Hello! Is installation mandatory for the bid or can we provide products only? Also, is the online pre-proposal meeting really at 6AM EST on 3/20? I wasn't able to register on 3/18, is it too late to do so?
Response: Installation is mandatory. If you signed up by the deadline, then you received an invite to the meeting with the appropriate time. Yes the deadline for signing up with yesterday.

Question: Will the awarded company have the responsibility of running conduit?
Response: No, that is under a different scope of the building being built.

Question: What is the construction schedule for this project?
Response: At this point all we know is that substantial completion is Feb 20, 2020 & final completion is March 19, 2020. These are subject to change. As for this project we won't know exactly when we'll be able to install equipment.
