Description:
The Spalding County Board of Commissioners is requesting proposals from qualified individuals or companies to provide professional services for an update of the Hazard Mitigation Plan – Update for Spalding County and all political subdivisions with Spalding County Office of Homeland Security according to the requirements of the Disaster Mitigation Act of 2000. The scope is designed in conformance to FEMA Plan Guidance requirements.
The contractor will ensure the plan update is consistent with the most current requirements / templates from FEMA, including but not limited to:
- Identify all changes to the plan within each section
- Update the planning process
- Improve the risk assessment
- Analyze, update and continue development of Goals, Objectives and Action Steps
- Update the plan maintenance and implementation
- Information dissemination
- Adoption and review
