Description: Hamilton County, TN is soliciting sealed bids for the following construction project: McDonald Farm Water Upgrades, (Project #DS-24-01) for the Hamilton County Development Services Department, as per specifications. The project includes the installation of 14,400 linear feet of 12-inch ductile iron water main piping and all necessary appurtenances along Dayton Pike (Highway 27) and Coulterville Road. The new 12-inch water main will connect to the existing 10-inch North West Utility District water main along Dayton Pike. An 8-inch service line with a water meter will be installed at the entrance to the McDonald Farm homestead and on Coulterville Road. Two Norfolk Southern railroad bores are anticipated with jack and bore crossings. Contractor shall include all labor, supervision, equipment, and all other incidentals to construct the water main to TDEC regulations and attached plans and specifications. Contractor shall be required to verify the locations of all existing utilities. Contractor shall submit “as-built” drawings as part of the close-out documentation.
