The BIDS shall be based on the following:

Scope of work includes, but is not limited to, furnishing all materials, equipment, and labor for Additions & Alterations to Fire Station No. 2 as shown in the Drawings and described in the Specifications and Bid Documents.  For complete requirements, please see Bid Documents and Drawings.  The Contractor shall comply with all requirements of the Grant.  Coordination with all other work being performed as further specified herein.  The County will assemble a temporary mobile unit on the property for the use of the occupants of the facility and they will maintain services during the construction of the project.  The apparatus bay will remain accessible to the vehicles until work is required within the bay area.

Pre-Bid Meeting Details: A MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING/WALK-THRU shall be held at 10:00 a.m. on July 9, 2020 at the Okeechobee County Historic Courthouse, 2nd Floor Conference Room located at 304 NW 2nd Street, Okeechobee, FL 34972. Bidder's attendance is mandatory. BIDS RECEIVED FROM CONTRACTORS WHO DO NOT PARTICIPATE IN THE PRE-BID MEETING WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The purpose of the mandatory pre-bid meeting is to provide site conditions and to receive questions from respondents on any issues considered relevant to the requirements of the project.
