Description:
The project consists of approximately 8,622sf building renovation that is divided into two spaces for the Owner’s use. Renovation consists new metal stud & gypsum walls, new carpet tile, stained conc. flooring, new ceiling tile/grid, new interior & exterior doors/frames, and new aluminum windows. The renovation includes complete plumbing, mechanical and electrical system replacement. Site work is limited to exterior stairs/ramps. The project includes all other work as shown, indicated, or reasonably implied on the drawings and/or specifications for a complete, first class job.
Complete plans, specifications and contract documents will be open for inspection in the offices of Owner and Smith Sinnett Architecture, 4600 Lake Boone Trail, Suite 205, Raleigh NC 27607.
Plans and Specifications can be downloaded from Smith Sinnett Architecture by potential bidders, upon registration with Smith Sinnett by completing the Intent to Bid Form available at www.smithsinnett.com after April 19, 2021. The full hard copy of the plans and specifications can be purchased at the contractor’s expense.
Randolph County reserves the right to award and/or reject any and/or all bids and waive any technicalities or irregularities. This contract will not be awarded solely on the basis of cost. Rather the contract for this project will be awarded to the lowest responsible, responsive bidder, taking into consideration quality, performance, and the time specified in the bid for the performance of the contract.
Pre-Bid Meeting Date: 5/6/2021 10:00 AM
Pre-Bid Meeting Details: An open pre-bid meeting will be held for all interested bidders on Thursday May 6, 2021 --- 10:00am ---- Project Site, 1463 N. Fayetteville Street, Asheboro, NC 27203. The meeting will address project specific questions, issues, bidding procedures and bid forms. The meeting is also to identify preferred brand alternates and their performance standards that the owner will consider for approval on this project.
