Question: 1) What is the width (transverse, side to side of bridge) of the blockouts? see sh. S3 2) Any criteria for sheeting to be driven other than plumbness tolerances and installed depth? 3) There is a sheet S8 referenced in a note on the plans [where??] but no S8. 4) Dimensions/depth of neoprene expansion joint? see C1 on S4 5) Where is the expansion joint to be installed? Only at interface between approach slabs and 12' bridge and 12' trail (ie, 2 runs at 12' for each approach slab, ie 48 LF?) 6) Locations with measurements indexed to something for control joints? 7) Concrete Washout note 3 states washouts shall be located at least 50' from storm drain, creek bank or perimeter control. This would appear to be a hard setback to maintain. Can this setback be lessened or waived? 8) Where is rock filter french drain installed, along edge of abutment facing water, or entire sheeting perimeter? Or something different? 9) Also, details notes 1 cu ft of rock on detail C2S4. Should this be 1 sq ft, 12" on a side? 10) Can we work with equipment to move riprap, etc. according to the permit? 11) Where can we stage equipment and material? 12) Section 012600 1.3A2 refers to only 5 days to propose change order pricing and schedule. This seems to be a overly quick turnaround time. Would the county consider allowing more time?
