Description:

Alabama A&M University (“University”) is seeking bids from qualified vendors to provide, namely the Biological and Environmental Sciences Department, maintenance of its equipment used in research. 

Such equipment for maintenance shall include but not be limited to freezers, coolers, ice machines & environmental rooms and chambers:  walk-in, standard, chest, and growth chambers; incubators, servers, ventilation and air conditioning units in support of researching needs.  Please note that the agreement with the awarded vendor shall include annual full maintenance service to include service on an as-needed, break/fix, preventative and scheduled maintenance, and/or emergency basis for all such equipment required.  Other maintenance needs within the scope of the agreement with the awarded vendor include quarterly preventative maintenance, inspection, cleaning, repairs, and labor.

Vendors should bid on this solicitation to provide a full maintenance program for the equipment outlined in this bid package.  Vendors should bid as to support only the equipment outlined in this bid package. 

TERM:  The term shall be one (1) calendar year after notice of bid award.  Alabama A&M University reserves the right to terminate a contract for cause or convenience at any time. 

Bid Reference Document:  Vendors should reference the Excel sheet for all the equipment to be included in the maintenance program.

The awarded vendor must follow Federal and State of Alabama laws and Alabama A&M University policies and procedures throughout the duration of the contract.
