Dawson County Purchasing Department on behalf of the Dawson County Board of Commissioners is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) to solicit sealed proposals from licensed and qualified vendors for materials and specialized labor to perform culvert renovations on four (4) structures. An Executive Order was issued by the State of Georgia Governor, on April 2, 2020, which limits the number of individuals gathered in one location to no more than ten (10), unless able to be within six (6) feet of each other.  In light of this Order, there will not be any pre-bid meetings through April 13, 2020. Instead, an extended question and answer period will be temporarily instituted.  All questions/comments that may arise from this invitation must be submitted in writing and emailed to the Purchasing Manager at mhawk@dawsoncounty.org no later than April 20, 2020, at 1:00 p.m.  All questions and answers will be posted to the County website and the Georgia Procurement Registry no later than April 22, 2020, at 1:00 p.m.  Answers to question submitted that materially change the conditions and specifications of this invitation will be promulgated to the County website and the Georgia Procurement Registry.  Any discussions or documents will be considered non-binding unless incorporated and publicized in an addendum.

The Dawson County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any technicalities or irregularities and to award the bid based on the highest and best interests of Dawson County.
