Question: The Bid is vague about some items - for example, floor stripper, 360 cases (cases of 1 gallon jugs / bags? How many gallons / case?) Can we have more detailed clarity for Electric Buffer 20" (is this chorded / battery?). Swing Machine 20" ? Nano Scrubber? Is this the same as a Tomcat NANO EDGER Oscillating Scrubber? Kindly provide more details if available. Thank you.
Response: 1. The stripper we have used in the past had 6 bottles per case that made 66 gal. per case out of our dilution system, 3M 22H. 2. Electric/corded 3. Please clarify your question about the 20” swing machine 4. Yes our Nano scrubbers are made by TomCat NANO EDGER Oscillating Scrubber

Question: How Many Delivery Locations?
Response: We have a central warehouse where all things are typically shipped to.

Question: Based on previous ordering history and purchase orders, about how often are the trash liners ordered (Monthly, quarterly or other) and what is an approximate case order?
Response: We order those roughly quarterly there is 100 bags in a large case, and 200 bags and a medium case

Question: Do we have to have a physical office or a plant within 250 miles of Kentucky?
Response: Yes

Question: Will this be awarded by group, item or all or nothing, As it says multiple vendors will be awarded but it also says this is not a line item award. Please clarify how this bid will be awarded
Response: This will not be awarded by line item. Scoring will be based on the criteria listed in the RFP with up to the top 5 scores being awarded. The number of awards will be determined by the amount of responses and the differences in scores. Cost scores will be based on the best pricing for all items. Once proposals are received all costs will be ranked and awarded points based on the ranking. The more items that are bid will result in a higher cost score.

Question: Can you please provide previous award tabulation, and /or current vendors and pricing?
Response: When logged in to Vendor Registry, go to Bid Center. On the left side for the search check the box for closed status, check the box for registered buyers and in the search box search for janitorial for the title. This will find the last solicitation we did in 2021. Once you click on the link you can view the tabulation from the last RFP.
