Description: This project consists of the construction of approximately 16,000 linear feet (LF) of 42-inch diameter sanitary sewer, 3,900 LF of 18-inch diameter sewer and short runs of 10-inch and 24-inch diameter sewers and 4 foot to 7 foot diameter manholes (sewer system). The work includes 3 bore and jack crossings; several wetland and stream crossings; construction under Texas Gas Pipelines; construction under various utilities, construction under overhead electric distribution lines; dismantling two sewage lift stations; and connection to the Scott’s Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) influent lift station wet well.
The 42-inch sewer will extend east and south from the Scotts Creek WWTP to terminating at the east side of the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) easement east of Chapel Hill Road. The 18-inch sewer will extend west from the termination of the 42-inch sewer along Chapel Hill Road and turn south on Chambers Chapel Road ending at the driveway to the Oakwood Grove lift station. The 24-inch sewer and the 10-inch sewer are spurs that provide connectivity for the existing sewer system to tie into the new Clear Creek Interceptor – Sanitary Sewer Phase A.
