Question: On page 25 of the RFP, mechanical general note #14. Is the client asking the duct heaters to be repaired if needed, or simply perform a diagnosis of any problems? On page 25 of the RFP, the mechanical general note #12. Is the client asking for a fire control system company to perform an inspection of the smoke/fire detection system? The solicitation asks for a "report", is this report to be from a licensed fire control service company? On page 25 of the RFP, the mechanical general note #10.2. Is the client asking that rigid ductwork for AHU#4 be removed and replaced with new? On page 25 of the RFP, the mechanical general note #10.3. Is the client asking that the flex ductwork be repaired or replaced? On page 25 of the RFP, the mechanical general note #13. Are there any plans to show the current location for plumbing and HVAC piping that may need to be relocated to for the new attic access? On page 25 of the RFP, the mechanical general note #11. Can you clarify what is meant by "repair any damaged refrigerant line insulation"? On page 25 of the RFP, the mechanical key note #9. Response: Clarification: After the Pre-Bid we will issue an addendum. Clarification Pg 25 Mechanical plan Mechanical General Notes #10.2- All rigid ductwork will need to be replaced with new rigid ductwork. #10.3- All flex ductwork will need to be replaced with new flex ductwork. #11- All refrigerant lines will be new. New insulation will need to be placed on all new lines #12- The duct smoke detectors can be field verified by a licensed HVAC contractor. The report noted is confirmation form licensed HVAC contractor that duct smoke detector is in working order. #13- All original plans will be available during pre-bid meeting. #14- duct heaters will need to be serviced and repaired if needed. Mechanical Key Notes #3- Replace all accessible refrigerant lines with new. #9- Primary and secondary drain lines need to be replaced and insulated.

Question: On page 26 of the RFP, 230719 HVAC Piping Insulation, A, is asking that the condensate drain piping system within air-conditioned spaces: be "Factory molded fiberglass pipe" while the insulation schedule asks for AP Armaflex rolled insulation. Which of these two supersedes?

Response: Ap Armaflex rolled insulation supersedes factory molded fiberglass pipe asked for in the mechanical schedule
