Question: Hello, we just want to confirm that this RFP is seeking Reading/Writing, as scope of work mentions mathematics, and also will the district accept supplemental instructional materials/software or are you looking for a Core program?
Response: Yes this is for Reading/Writing. There is a separate RFP for mathematics. Yes the district will accept supplemental materials/software. Per the RFP (Page 11, Item 8), “RFP may be awarded to multiple offerors if in the best interest of the district.”

Would digital only or printable/digital be considered? - Do you plan to make a list of approved programs or is this going to result in the purchase one (or a several programs) for district-wide implementation? - Is the district looking for one program that supports both reading and writing?

Question: The RFP specifies grades 3-12. Our Reading and Writing solution only goes through Grade 8. Would the District consider a supplemental curriculum solution that only covers a portion of the in-scope grades?
Response: The district is reviewing to support 3-12, we will consider all proposals based on the needs outlined in the RFP

Response: Tier 1 is the priority solution.

Response: Novel study while not directly part of the RFP and the RFP is for digital resources, we are interested in seeing the proposal that will allow opportunity to respond to the literature.

Question: What does a preferred Trial look like for FCPS?
Response: As defined in RFP, random sample of schools will have student groups and teachers will utilize the product for feedback until end of trail period on January 26, 2024.

Question: Can you confirm that the "total price (all five years and trial) not to exceed $850,000.00" on page 17 of the RFP is the grand total for 5 years? If so, does this include professional development?
Response: The total initial price for year 1 is not to exceed the cost proposal stated. Each of the remaining five years, renewal cost is not to exceed the amount stated in the Cost Proposal. The district is requesting each vendor to submit a cost proposal for each of year. Yes, the cost does include PD.

Question: We noticed the total price including the trial is not to exceed $850,000.00. Can you confirm this is for all 5 years combined? or not to exceed this amount per year?
Response: The total initial price for year 1 is not to exceed the cost proposal stated. Each of the remaining five years, renewal cost is not to exceed the amount stated in the Cost Proposal.
