Description: The CITY OF MURFREESBORO – CIVIC CENTER PARKING GARAGE Parking Garage, located at 111 West Vine Street, Murfreesboro TN is a cast-in-place, conventionally reinforced concrete, and post tensioned concrete structure with 2 supported levels above grade in a split-level configuration. One-way ramps provide vertical circulation through the supported levels and parking bays are generally double loaded with stalls at 90 degrees on each side of the drive lanes. The first (lower) level entrance/exit is off Tommy Martin Drive. The second (upper) level entrance is off West Vine Street and the exit is onto South Church Street. The first level floor is a reinforced concrete slab on grade. The second level floor is a post tensioned reinforced concrete slab, a majority of which is covered by the Civic Center (City Hall and Limbaugh Library). The remainder of the post tensioned reinforced concrete slab is an exposed deck that also serves as a roof over a portion of the lower level garage. The exposed second level of the garage is features a thin concrete overlay. No waterproofing membrane is apparent between the topping and the structural concrete deck.

Pre-Bid Meeting Details: A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00am (immediately following the Pre-Bid Conference for the Printers Alley Garage Repair Project) on December 13, 2017 at the project site; 111 North Vine Street, Civic Center Parking Garage, Level 2, near south elevator. Representatives of Owner and Engineer will be present to discuss the Project. Bidders must attend and are encouraged to participate in the conference. Engineer will transmit to all prospective Bidders of record such Addenda as Engineer considers necessary in response to questions arising at the conference
