Description: The City of Myrtle Beach is requesting bids from qualified and licensed contractors for rehabilitation of a single family home located at 881 Canal St, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577. The contractor shall be required to complete work as specified and outlined in the Work Write-up Sheet included herein. Interested parties are invited to submit sealed bids to the office of the City of Myrtle Beach Procurement Division located at 3231 Mr. Joe White Avenue, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577. No facsimile, email or telephone bid submittals will be accepted. The solicitation document (IFB) can be obtained by contacting John K. O'Brien at jkobrien@cityofmyrtlebeach.com. This project is a U.S. Housing & Urban Development CDBG funded project and contingent upon funding availability. Therefore, all rules and regulations related to such funding will apply.

MANDATORY Pre-Bid Walkthrough will be held 10:00 a.m., June 12, 2024 at 881 Canal St., Myrtle Beach, SC 29577. On time attendance and sign in are required for bid submission. No late attendees will be admitted. No remote attendance options are available. 

Any bid submittal received later than the specified time and date will NOT be accepted/considered. The City of Myrtle Beach, in accordance with the provisions of ALL TITLES of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. §§ 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
