Description:

Sealed proposals will be received by the Village of Buffalo Grove, 50 Raupp Blvd, Buffalo Grove, Illinois, via electronic submittal only online at www.vbg.org/bids. Hard copies of the proposal will not be accepted. The proposals will be publicly opened at 9:00 AM local time on Thursday, November 18, 2021 via a virtual bid opening. Each bidder must submit the required forms and follow the provisions. The electronic submission shall be in pdf format and a single file that encompasses all the requirements. The file shall be marked or endorsed:

This project includes, but is not limited to, the following major work items: lift station demolition and construction; force main construction; sanitary sewer replacement; water main replacement; detention pond and volume control construction; access road construction; pavement and landscape restoration; and other appurtenant work for a total distance of 2,165 feet (0.41 miles).

All work under this contract shall comply with the Prevailing Wage Act of the State of Illinois, 820 ILCS 130/0.01 et seq. & the Employment of Illinois Workers on Public Works Act (30 ILCS 570/0.01 et. seq).
