Question: TENCO list on Scope of Work lists " 1.) Content Manipulation charge - per hour 16 Hour total" Could you clarify this line item as it pertains to our expected scope?
Response: This should pertain to removal and disposal of tenant belongings/contents damaged and or destroyed in the fire.

Question: TENCO lists Mitigation Line #26. Specialty Item "Water Mitigation repairs from Serv pro see Invoice" Will Serv Pro complete work prior to our arrival? Can you clarify that scope? Or - if we are to coordinate & pay for their services - please share invoice & proposed scope.
Response: This line item refers to Servpro mitigation of water at the time of the incident. This is not a part of the scope of work out for bid.

Question: Will KCDC provide appliances (fridge, dishwasher, range, range hood)?
Response: Appliances destroyed or damaged during the fire will need to be purchased and installed by the contractor as part of this scope of work. This unit will have a Range, Range Hood, and Refrigerator and dishwasher in this unit. Typical manufacturer and model numbers we use are as follows: Range: G.E. Haier RBS160DMWW Refrigerator: G.E. Haier HPE16BTNWW Dishwasher: G.E. Haier GDF510PGWW Range Hood: Broan BUEZ230WW

Question: Will KCDC provide a water heater?
Response: If water heater replacement is necessary we expect the contractor to purchase and install a unit that is similar and comparable to what was previously used in this unit.

Question: Will KCDC provide washing machine & dryer?
Response: Washer/Dyer are tenant provided and installed. That will not be part of this scope of work.

Question: Is any HVAC work expected in this contract?
Response: Yes, Wiring to unit is burned, duct is scorched in places, interior of duct and unit will need cleared of smoke/fire damage. Replacement is a possibility Strongly advise an HVAC Technician help with this section of the bid.

Response: Yes, Electrical work is expected. Multiple areas where wires are burned and will need replaced. Site visit is recommended.

Response: Yes, Brick cleaning and or partial replacement as needed mainly at rear kitchen door and upper windows. Railings, siding, closet door, all were damaged in fire and will need to be addressed. Site visit is recommended.
