ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed Bids for the construction of Vineyard Village Site Improvements will be received by the Crestview City Council at city hall located at 198 N. Wilson Street, Crestview, FL, until 2:00 p.m. local time on December 6, 2023, at which time the Bids received will be “publicly” opened and read. The Project consists of approximately 230 tons of asphalt pavement, 2,053 square yards of base, and 1,661 LF of pipe (water/sewer/storm), 8 mitered end sections, 2 manholes, 28 water services, 786 LF of curb, and 8 inlets.

Pre-Bid Meeting Details: A Non-mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held November 16, 2023 at 10:00 am local time, Crestview City Hall, Council Chambers, 198 N. Wilson St., Crestview, FL 32536.

This addendum is to advise that the deadline to submit questions is November 30th by 5:00 p.m., as well as adding the CAD File.

Overview: This addendum is in response to questions received regarding the project.
1. What material could be used for the Drain piping.
Response: Optional material per the FDOT Approved Product List. Most will probably use Corrugated Plastic Pipe where allowed.
2. What material is allowed for the water service piping?
Response - Meet the specifications of the City of Crestview - Engineering Standards Manual for all water and sewer service piping.

Overview: 1. There are no Bid Line items for Construction Surveying Layout / As-Builts or Material /Compaction Testing for the Vineyard Village project. Please advise.
Response: This is a lump sum contract so it will not be paid on a line-item basis. Typically, the cost for surveys is included in the Mobilization line item.
Passing test results will be needed for each item as required by Article 14 of the General Conditions and the project specifications referenced in the plans (Crestview and/or FDOT as applicable). The cost of these tests shall be covered by the lump sum contract price.
