Description:

Dawson County Purchasing Department on behalf of the Dawson County Board of Commissioners is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to obtain sealed packages from licensed and qualified vendors for design-build services for a cast in place concrete canoe ramp.

There will be a mandatory prep-submittal meeting to be held at the Law Enforcement Center lobby, located at the Etowah River Park, located at 4848 Hwy 9 South, Dawsonville, GA 30534, located between Rock Creek Sports Complex and Dawson County Middle School, at 10:00 a.m., on August 2, 2021.  

The Dawson County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any technicalities or irregularities and to award the bid based on the highest and best interests of Dawson County.

Pre-Bid Meeting Details: From GA 400, follow Dawson Forest Road (turn right if you are coming south on 400; turn left if you are coming north on 400) -- Follow Dawson Forest Road until it intersects with Hwy 9 North -- Turn right and follow Hwy 9 for about 1 mile -- River Park is located immediately past Dawson County Middle School, before you reach Bannister Road/Rock Creek Sports Complex.
