Description:

The Morongo Unified School District is soliciting bids for network infrastructure upgrade equipment. Bids will be received until January 19, 2022, at 10:00 a.m.  Faxed bids will not be accepted. Bids shall be labeled Bid #22-04 Network Infrastructure Upgrade and must be delivered to Morongo Unified School District Purchasing Department, Attention: Director of Purchasing, 5715Utah Trail #1209, 29 Palms, Ca 92277. Date and time of bid opening must appear on bid envelope.

The Morongo Unified School District IT Department is recommending replacing all network infrastructure switches before site and District experience network equipment failures that could potentially disrupt site operations, communications, and the delivery education.  The replacement/upgrade of the network infrastructure equipment will upgrade all site local area network speeds from 10Gb to a minimum 20Gb and reaching 40Gb in some locations.  Replacing infrastructure switches will offer the District room for network expansion, increased network speeds, future high-speed device connectivity, and provide network stability for the following 10 years.Bid tabulations will be available after the February 8, 2022 Board Meeting. The DISTRICT reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any proposals or in the bidding.
