Florence County is accepting proposals from qualified vendors to perform cleaning and trash disposal service for various Florence County Facilities as defined in the Request for Proposal (RFP). These services shall include the furnishing of all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for the provision of cleaning and janitorial services, all of which is further described within this RFP document.

NO OTHER PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE WILL BE HELD. IMPORTANT NOTICE: THE WEARING OF FACE MASK WILL BE MANDATORY TO ATTEND THIS MEETING. ONES WITHOUT MASK WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO ATTEND.

Response: We prefer that the cost proposal be submitted as a separate proposal but it can be a part of your overall primary proposal. We will accept supplemental information as a separate proposal.

Question: Page 18, Item 1.d. and e. requests details regarding the number of agencies "privatized" by our company. We are unsure of the meaning of this request. Please clarify.
Response: Privatization describes the process by which a piece of property or business goes from being owned by the government to being privately owned. It generally helps governments save money and increase efficiency, where private companies can move goods quicker and more efficiently. This only applies if applicable.

Question: The RFP states that stripping and waxing shall be done quarterly. During the walkthrough it was stated that stripping and waxing would be done semi-annually. Is it quarterly or semi-annually?
