Description:

Beaufort County requests bids to perform installation and replacement of thermoplastic pavement markings.  There are 16 locations in Beaufort County that are in need of new pavement markings; 6 locations north of the Broad River and 10 locations south of the Broad River. The project will need to be completed by a date specified in the contract. The special requirements listed must be taken into consideration when submitting a bid.  

The successful bidder must supply all materials, labor, and supervision necessary to properly perform this project. All work performed shall follow SCDOT Standards, Specifications, and Special Provisions for Traffic Control.

Question: Several of the roads that receive edge lines will require the shoulders to be clipped and cleaned before edge lines can be installed. Will Beaufort County complete this work prior to work being performed?
