Annual Contract for Pipe Repairs and Replacements

The Clayton County Water Authority (CCWA) intends to contract for the annual services of an experienced Contractor to complete pipe repair and replacement work. The CCWA reserves the right to award a Primary Contractor, as well as a Back-Up Contractor to ensure that our requests under this annual contract can be performed as needed. To be considered responsive to this bid, bidders are required to bid on all work items listed on the Bid Form - Pay Item Schedule. Bidders must submit a hard copy of their completed and signed Bid Form, as well as a duplicate copy by electronic version. The electronic version must be in MS Excel and must be submitted on a CD. The Clayton County Water Authority will provide the Excel file upon requests emailed to Bidders are responsible for submitting their electronic version on their self-provided CD. In case of any discrepancy between the hard copy version and the electronic version, the hard copy version will govern. Additionally, due to the volume of the items on the bid form on the date of the bid opening, no bid amounts will be read out loud by the CCWA; however, copies of the paper submittals will be provided upon request. A contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive responsible bidder whose bid conforms to the Request for Bids specifications, and will be the most advantageous to the Clayton County Water Authority (CCWA). The initial term of this contract will be for twelve (12) months. The contract may be extended for a second and third 12 month period by mutual written consent by both parties with no changes in the terms and conditions.
