The City of Daytona Beach, Florida, will receive online Solicitations for 20543 – Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Blvd. Streetscape Improvements, until 2:00 p.m., on July 16, 2020. Offers received after said time will not be accepted.
All Offers MUST be submitted through Negometrix at www.codb.us/841/Purchasing, by selecting the link to ‘Public Solicitation-Negometrix’. No paper Offers will be accepted.
SCOPE: The work generally consists of adding landscape and hardscape improvements along both the north and south side of MMB Blvd from Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. to US-1 (Ridgewood Ave.).

All announcements regarding this solicitation will be broadcasted via Negometrix; it is the Bidder's responsibility to stay informed and up to date of all changes to the solicitation.
QUESTION DEADLINE. The deadline for questions is 10 calendar days before the Offer Opening Date. Questions should be submitted through the Negometrix Bid Platform using the questions and answer feature. Any changes to this solicitation will be made by Addendum or by answering questions by publishing on the Negometrix Bid Platform.
BONDING. A 10% bid bond is required for all construction projects. An AIA bid bond form is acceptable. The successful Contractor will be required to furnish separate 100% Performance and Payment Bonds unless the Contract price is less than $100,000. City approved bond forms will be sent to the successful Bidder when a Notice of Award is issued.
MBE/WBE PARTICIPATION. SUPPLIERS SHALL NOTE RECENT REVISIONS THAT REQUEST SUBMISSION OF “GOOD FAITH EFFORT” DOCUMENTATION EVIDENCING THE SUPPLIER’S ATTEMPTS TO ACHIEVE THE CITY’S MBE/WBE CONTRACT PARTICIPATION AND EMPLOYMENT GOALS.
Bids may be held by the City for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bid and investigating the qualifications of suppliers prior to awarding the contract.
