We intend to use radios without repeaters. 2) Do you require the ability to communicate between schools? Would you like to do so? Not at this but it may be something in the future that we investigate. 3) Do you require the ability to communicate with your buses inside or outside the county? Would you like to do so? We have a separate system for our buses that can communicate with the schools, buses as well as local law enforcement. 4) Do you require the ability to communicate with your employees off-site inside or outside the county? Would you like to do so? Staff utilizes their cell phone, and our buses are equipped to communicate with our schools. 5) Do you require the ability to have separate talk groups for different functions? Administration, maintenance, transportation, etc? Would you like to do so? It is not a requirement, but our schools and departments do have separate channels for different groups to use. 6) Do you have existing UHF FCC Licenses? I can find no FCC licenses for UHF Operation. The following information is for our bus radios only: Repeater 156.2250 159.0450 TAC 156.2250 7) Do you require the ability to display on each radio who is transmitting? Would you like to do so? That would be a great feature to have but it would depend on the cost. 8) What features beyond simple voice communications would you like for the radios to do? The vendor is welcome to recommend other features beyond what is listed but the items must have the price listed. 9) Can you provide a better description of the feature and use you would like the radios to perform?
