Description: Town of Brunson is soliciting bids from licensed inspectors to perform comprehensive asbestos inspections prior to the demolition of approximately 8 privately owned vacant, dilapidated houses and 1 town owned trailer in the North Main/North Addison Area in the Town of Brunson, South Carolina. The houses and the town owned trailer are of moderate size, averaging less than 1,500 square feet, and are located in a concentrated target area within the Town.  We intend to have all the units inspected at one time in an effort to minimize travel expenses.  This work is part of a grant project (CDBG #4-NR-15-001) funded by SC Department of Commerce. The bidder must geographically be reasonably proximate to the sites.  The firm must hold all applicable state and federal licenses to perform the testing as well as any necessary monitoring during the removal of asbestos.
