Response: The Reading and Writing do not need to be one in the same resource.

Response: Yes the district will accept supplemental materials/software. Per the RFP (Page 11, Item 8), “RFP may be awarded to multiple offerors if in the best interest of the district.”

Response: Number of teachers as of 10/17: Kindergarten - 242 1st grade - 234 2nd grade - 243

Question: Hello--in regards to the "waiver of non-participation" mentioned in Part VI, where can we find this waiver?

Response: This is not needed for this solicitation.

Question: The evaluation criteria states that the systems integration portion is worth 60/200 points. How does this factor in if we are submitting a mainly print resource in which the associated digital components do not apply to the questions addressed on this form?

Response: We are looking for primarily digital resources. Digital resources must meet our minimum criteria for our district’s systems integration.

Question: Can you confirm that the "total price (all five years and trial) not to exceed $750,000.00" on page 17 of the RFP is the grand total for 5 years? If so, does this include professional development?

Response: The total initial price for year 1 is not to exceed the cost proposal stated. Each of the remaining five years, renewal cost is not to exceed the amount stated in the Cost Proposal. The district is requesting each vendor to submit a cost proposal for each of year. Yes, the cost does include PD.

Response: Tier 1 is the priority solution.

Response: As defined in RFP, random sample of schools will have student groups and teachers will utilize the product for feedback until end of trail period on January 26, 2024.

Response: Novel study while not directly part of the RFP and the RFP is for digital resources, we are interested in seeing the proposal that will allow opportunity to respond to the literature.
