This Scope of Work (SOW) outlines the requirements for a Cybersecurity Pilot Program for Alamogordo
Public Schools (APS). The purpose of this SOW is to solicit proposals from qualified vendors to provide
comprehensive cybersecurity solutions aimed at enhancing proactive optimization and monitoring, as well as
strengthening identity protection and authentication across the district's network and email infrastructure.
This pilot program seeks to address ongoing cybersecurity challenges and establish a robust defense against
evolving threats.
Alamogordo Public School District wishes to compare Firewall, Phishing Simulation, and Email Security
Solutions for the completion of their federally funded district Cyber Security Pilot Program.
Alamogordo Public Schools is committed to providing a secure and reliable digital environment for its
students, faculty, and staff. As cyber threats continue to grow in sophistication and frequency, there is a
critical need to implement advanced cybersecurity measures that protect sensitive data, maintain
operational continuity, and educate users on best security practices. This pilot program represents a
strategic initiative to evaluate and deploy cutting-edge solutions that can scale to meet the district's
current and future cybersecurity needs. The new service is planned to begin as early as January 5, 2026.
cost effectiveness analysis, the District will determine which, if any, of the services is the most cost-effective,
long-term solution that meets the current and expected future needs of the district.
