Description: Rio Rancho Public Schools (“RRPS”) is seeking to establish a District price agreement for the purchase of E-rate eligible Category 1 Services (Dependent upon available funding). RRPS is always looking towards future technology and advanced capabilities to serve students and faculty. Some of the RRPS current data architecture infrastructure is over seven (7) years old. The District is in the final stages of an internal switch refresh that should be completed in the next few months. This WAN project may require a phased approach to include network electronics, support to physically implement the network design, and potentially maintenance services. This RFP is open to eligible telecommunications provider that have a valid SPIN number, and be willing to file a FCC Form 473 annually with the FCC Schools and Libraries Division (SLD).

Question: 1. Does the district wish to amortize any special construction charges over 4 years? 2. Is the district open to longer contract terms beyond the 8 years requested? Example: initial 5 years with 3 optional 5-year extensions? 3. I understand the pre-school is ineligible in the state of New Mexico, but I wanted to verify the transportation building and career tech were also ineligible for this district.

Question: Question # 1 Reference: Page 31, Paragraph # 5, Section H. Question: Does RRPS expect bidders to provide specific prevailing wage information within their proposals? If so, what documentation will be sufficient to demonstrate prevailing wage compliance?
