Description: The Project consists of, but is not limited to the following major elements: Construction of water distribution facilities in five project areas consisting of approximately 20,400 L.F. of water lines ranging in size from 2" to 12" diameter and including fire hydrants, valves, re-connection of customer services, meter and valve vaults and other related appurtenances. Construction also includes installation of an ultrasonic meter to measure sewage flows into the County's Athens Academy Pump Station. Other unit price tasks and sites may be added under subsequent renewals of the Contract, if negotiated. Sealed bids will be received by the Oconee County Board of Commissioners in the office of the Purchasing Officer, Suite 203, 23 N. Main Street, Watkinsville, Georgia, 30677 until 10:00 a.m. local time on Friday, September 22, 2017. Any bid received after said time and date of bid opening will not be considered by OWNER. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 10:05 a.m., EST, in the Commission Chambers, Suite 205 at the above referenced address.
