Description: The intent of this Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) project is to construct an eight-foot -wide (8') concrete multi-use path along the north side of Perdido Key Drive, formally SR-292. The project begins at the Alabama/Florida state line, and extends to the western boundary of Perdido Key State Park. The path will provide ADA access with detectable warning mat provided at each cross-street location. All existing driveways will be reconstructed with new asphalt or concrete aprons. Pedestrian access will be restricted during construction of the path with installation of Lane Channelizing Devices (LCDs).
