Description: E-RATE REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL #18-0002 STRUCTURED CABLING INFRASTRUCTURE: The Morongo Unified School District is upgrading all structured copper cabling. The District has actively been involved in upgrading its networks infrastructure to support the growing needs of device connectivity and supporting 21st century education. All vendors must be registered with the Schools and Libraries Division (SLD) in order to participate in this process and must supply their SLD SPIN number with their proposal, as well as other FCC requirements. The RFP packet can be found on the district website at www.morongo.k12.ca.us, under Departments, select Purchasing & Warehouse, then the Contractor tab in the middle of the screen, and “Available Bids” (in blue) on the right. Vendors are solely responsible for making themselves familiar with the information, and attending the Mandatory Job Walks: Friday, January 26, 2018 and Monday, January 29, 2018, at 8:00 a.m. Proposal Opening: Thursday, February 15, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. PST. The District reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals and to waive any irregularities in bidding.

Pre-Bid Meeting Details: Mandatory Job Walk(s) - Because of the size of the district and the distance between the school sites, two mandatory job walks are planned, 1/26/18 at 8:00 a.m., and 1/29/18 at 8:00 a.m. All interested parties are required to attend both. The meeting will be held at the IT Department of Morongo Unified School District which is located on the campus of Oasis Elementary School, 73175 El Paseo Drive, 29 Palms, Ca 92277.
