Description: The Georgetown County, SC Public Services Department, Environmental Services Division is soliciting proposals to provide a continuous program for the pick-up and recycling of waste tires. Tires are currently collected convenience centers by owner and are hauled to a centralized location at the Solid Waste Landfill, located at 201 Landfill Drive (off Browns Ferry Road a/k/a SC-51), Georgetown, SC 29440 for collection and disposal.
Pre-Bid Meeting Details: It is strongly recommended that each proposer make a site inspection of the tire recycling area at the Georgetown County Solid Waste Landfill. Please make a prior appointment by calling Michelle LaRocco (843)545-3449.
