Description: The City of Myrtle Beach will be receiving bids for IFB #23-B0023 for Broadway Wetland and Stream Improvements. Bid submissions must be received by the City of Myrtle Beach Procurement Office located at 3231 Mr. Joe White Avenue, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577 no later than 2:00PM (local time) on June, 13, 2023.

The project consists of improvements to the pond and stream on Withers Swash, north of Broadway Street. Improvements will include construction of a forebay, wetland, and stream as well as installation of buried logs, wetland plantings and grading and seeding of banks. This project is being funded by a loan from the State Revolving Fund (SRF) and prospective bidders must comply with all applicable state and federal requirements, including Davis-Bacon, during the bid and construction of the project. All qualifiers must be able to provide required 100% payment and performance bonds along with insurance to cover fire, extended coverage, vandalism, and malicious mischief insurance equal to the actual property values prior to award. Bidders must comply with the "American Iron and Steel" provision and certify that all iron, steel, and manufactured goods used in the project were produced in the United States, unless a waiver is granted by the EPA.

All bids must be accompanied by a certified cashier's check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total amount of the bid made payable to the City of Myrtle Beach. IFB forms and requirements may be obtained from the City of Myrtle Beach Procurement Office for a $50.00 non-refundable fee. The public bid opening will be conducted at the City of Myrtle Beach Procurement Office at 2:00 PM local time, June 13, 2023. No electronic submissions will be accepted. The City is not responsible for late or misdirected mail.
