Description:

County seeks to purchase a paint striping truck to install painted pavement markings with the county’s paving program and satisfy demands for maintaining pavement markings on the roadway system, including truck and mounted air atomizing striping application machine. The machine shall apply reflectorized centerline striping that meets Federal & State guidelines utilizing water base or low VOC traffic paint & glass beads. The equipment must be capable of applying water base paint at ambient temperatures of 70 ° Fahrenheit on dry clean pavement asphalt or concrete. The paint material shall not be heated, the unit shall be capable of applying (2) four to eight-inch lines from the left side of the unit and (1) four to eight-inch line on the right side, in either solid or skip patterns or combination of these patterns. Highlands County will not accept bids for airless paint systems.
