Description: This District is requesting Bid Submittals from qualified firms able to provide services to fabricate and install two (2) manatee screens upstream of the Apopka dam and four (4) manatee screens within the lock structure.

The estimated budget for the project is $90,000.00 and the project completion date is December 31, 2023. Any deviation from this schedule shall be noted in Contractor’s bid.

Pre-Bid Meeting Details: A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for September 29, 2023, at 11:00a.m., at the Apopka Lock, 16400 CR 48, Mount Dora, FL 32757. The purpose of the pre-bid conference is to allow potential bidders an opportunity to present questions to staff and obtain clarification on the requirements of the bid documents.
