Question: What machines is the district planning on replacing?
Response: Vendors should recommend which machines should be replaced based on our district printing data and age of equipment. Final decisions will be determined based on the RFP responses received.

Question: Does the district own the current equipment? If replacing does it need be returned to leasing company.
Response: The District does own the equipment and request trade in values for all equipment. The winning bidder will remove and replace the machines.

Question: What "card" does the district use today for the card reader?
Response: All employees are issued a HID iCLASS DP (Lenel). That information is then uploaded into the PaperCut system and used to access and track printing.

Question: Scope of work question #11, can you be more specific on data being stored on equipment is this private or sensitive?
Response: Private or Sensitive data is captured in PaperCut not stored on the equipment. The Vendor shall be responsible for backing-up and restoring only programs that impact the operation of the machine.

Question: Are there any web based tools the Publishing Dept is currently using?
Response: The Printing and Publishing Department uses PaperCut Job Ticketing a web based program for work flow management and billing.

Question: Would you allow a walk thru of a building to confirm "max paper capacity and small side paper decks" for all equipment? Some machines are 30pm machines doing minimal volume.
Response: A pre-bid and /or walk through meeting is not scheduled. The current machines both 30 ppm and 50 ppm all have the small side paper decks. The maximum paper capacity for letter size is preferred on all machines.
