Description: 1. Purpose. Assist the County with their recovery from declared federal disasters, including planning and grant administration services and the filing and processing of appeals with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Such services will include working with FEMA and the State of Florida to process all of the County’s grant claims as efficiently and expeditiously as possible. As requested, assist the County with any disaster planning or any other matters relating to emergency management and any other tasks or grant services, as specifically directed by the County.
