Description: Sealed bids will be received until 3:00 P.M. December 29, 2016 at which time responses to this request will be recorded in the presence of one or more witnesses in the Purchasing Department, 106 Industrial Village Road, Building #2, Beaufort, South Carolina for: Hurricane Slope Damage Site #1 re-establish roadway slope adjacent to US 278 westbound on the approach to the Bluffton Parkway flyover for approximately 1200 feet. Site #2 re-establish approximately 1000 feet of slope on repurposed railway bed (Spanish Moss Trail) between North Street and bridge over headwaters of Battery Creek. Load restriction on path (on grade) is 30,000 lb. Price for each location will be for all necessary items to successfully complete the work, including but not limited to embankment material, geotextile fabric, rip rap stone, labor, equipment, traffic control, etc. There is no pre-bid meeting.
