Question: We would like to bid. In communicating with the manufacturers, two have told us they have an exclusive agreement with Beck Office Furniture. These manufacturers will not give us a cost. The furniture specifications list several items with "no substitution" stipulations and we are left not being able to bid on those line items. Is RRPS aware that they have specified manufacturers who have determined they will not sell to other vendors? Thank you.

Question: There is one open manufacturer (Paragon), that is requesting the dealers to provide credit application information, etc., before they will offer pricing. In that we understand needing to be approved credit wise, this is causing delays in preparing our bid response. Can the District and or DPS please ask them to provide pricing before the award? Once the award is made, we are happy to provide all the necessary documentation. Thank you!

Question: In Attachment A, Requirement #5 under installation is states, “Vendor shall receive all furniture shipments at their warehouse and may not ship product directly to the project site prior to the installation window.? Does this mean as long as we schedule delivery to be made within the installation window, we can ship directly to the site? If affirmative, what would happen if the installation window was given to allow the scheduling, then the install slipped due to contractor delays? Will the district or contractor be responsible for the warehousing fees in this case?

Question: Previously I submitted a questions stating that KI would not sell directly to any additional New Mexico companies for the items specified on this bid. The answer from RRPS was that this is inaccurate. I spoke with the KI representative again who confirmed that they will not sell to us directly. Are you able to provide the source of the statement that KI will sell to additional local dealers
