Notice is hereby given that competitive sealed bids will be accepted by Raton Water Works for the Downtown Waterline Replacement Project. The work shall generally consist of: Install approximately 2,700 linear feet of new 6”, 8”, and 12” waterline in downtown Raton by horizontal directional drilling (HDD); tie in existing lateral and service lines and install new fire hydrants and service lines at specified locations; abandon existing waterline in place once new waterline is disinfected, pressure tested, and in operation; and patch concrete and asphalt paving sections.

There is no Pre-Bid Conference scheduled for this project.

Sealed bids shall be received at the office of the General Manager as follows until July 15, 2020 at 3:00 pm. Bids received after this date and time will be returned unopened. Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud immediately after the specified closing time. All interested parties are invited to attend the bid opening. Bid security in the amount of 5% of the amount bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
