Question: The issue that we have in our question is that the RFQ appears to have bidding/cost/bonds as a significant factor in the professional services selection process which is contradictory of the Alabama Board of Licensure which states that Engineers being allowed to participate in that kind of submission. With the current wording of the RFP we will be unable to submit. Our question is can the wording be modified to remove the bid/bond/cost element of the RFQ until after selection has been made which is more inline with the Quality Based Selection procedures in place.

Question: The Alabama NPDES Permit for stormwater discharges from regulated small municipal separate storm sewer systems expired September 30, 2021. Does UAH expect any significant changes in the new permit that will replace it? Most of the scope of this RFP will likely be performed under the terms of the new MS4 Permit.
