Description: Notice is hereby given that the Board of County Commissioners of Okaloosa County, FL, will accept
bids until July 6, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. (C.S.T.) for Construct Baggage Claim Expansion.
Okaloosa County (COUNTY) and the airport staff (AIRPORT) desire to modify the existing
baggage claim systems and construct an expansion of the baggage claim portion of the East terminal
non-secure public use areas as well as the canopy over the baggage claim load belts in the secure
area. The project will construct a baggage claim expansion with baggage claim systems, rental car
counters and offices, and airline baggage offices. The project will also renovate the existing baggage
claim portion of the East terminal. Impacts to existing airport facilities that will be incurred include:
connection to water, sewer, gas, electrical, landscaping, covered walkway, and other airport
facilities.
Funding for this project is being provided by federal funds (FAA, AIP and PFC regulated funds),
FDOT grant, and Airport local match funds and will be subject to all applicable County, State and
Federal requirements as determined applicable.

through a Zoom meeting on June 15, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. (C.S.T.).

The County will offer an in-person, site visit after the pre-bid conference on June 15, 2022 at

Unless otherwise stipulated in the bid/proposal description, all responses must be submitted using
Vendor Registry only. No other means of submission of responses will be accepted. Responses will
be accepted by Vendor Registry until July 6, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. (C.S.T.) at which time all bids that
are timely submitted will be opened and reviewed.
