Description: The Response Deadline for submittals are due no later than Monday, February 10, 2025 at 3:00 P.M. and should be submitted in a sealed envelope and clearly marked " 2025-03 County Attorney Legal Services”. All responses received after the deadline for submission will not be opened or considered. The successful Firm, Individual, or In-house Individual will serve as County Attorney for the Okeechobee County Board of County Commissioners and represent the County in all matters requiring legal counsel. All duties must be performed in accordance with the County’s Code of Ordinances and all other pertinent statutes and regulations. The selected applicant will provide legal services as County Attorney including but not limited to the areas of legislative governmental issues, land use and zoning, real estate, code enforcement, and contract law as well as monitoring the activities of any outside legal counsel representing the County in litigation.
