Description:

The Peach County Board of Commissioners seeks responses to this Request for Bid ("RFB") for the construction of a Storage Building. The successful bidder will be responsible for design a complete set of construction drawings based on the specifications provided on this solicitation. The successful bidder will also be responsible for all permits and documents to complete this project.                                    Closing date for Sealed Bids responding to Request for Bid (RFB) No. 20-008 shall be May 20th, 2020 @ 2:30 p.m. Bids will be opened in public without discussion on May 20th, 2020 @ 2:45 p.m. at the Peach County Board of Commissioner’s Office, 213 Persons Street, Fort Valley, GA 31030. Bid amounts will not be released until the Board of Commissioners has awarded the project to the winning contractor.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     The work to be performed under this Contract shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and incidental and performing all work required to perform the construction of the project titled Storage Building. In general, construction consists of new buildings and structures, mechanical and electrical installations such as plumbing, heating, electrical work, elevators, escalators, central air-conditioning, and other similar building services such as design, financial, estimating and legal considerations.                                                   The complete RFB package will be available by contacting Daniel Garcia Flores at daniel-garciaflores@peachcounty.net                               All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the Base Bid. Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount, will be required of the successful bidder.
