Question: While we do not have direct experience with providing healthcare services for municipal employees, we have a strong track record of managing on-site clinics and providing healthcare services within correctional facilities and homeless encampments as well as over 20 years of healthcare worker staffing for federal government (military, NASA, Walter Reed) contracts. The services we provide at these institutions are the same we would provide to the Town of Bluffton – primary care services that include, but are not limited to, treatment of minor illness and injuries, health screenings and assessments, annual exams, inoculations, chronic care services, health coaching, development of wellness programs and coordination of follow-up care with other community providers. Would this experience be considered relevant and qualifying for this RFP?

Question 9

Posted: 11/26/2024

Question: Are there any services the Town of Bluffton will provide in the clinic(s) space, such as janitorial, biowaste removal, HVAC, internet, phone lines, etc.? If so, will there be any cost to the winning bidder for these services?

Response: Addendum 1, Q&A, has been posted.

Question 10

Posted: 11/26/2024

Question: Given that there are no statistics on the number of possible clinic visits per month or year, and wanting to keep pricing as efficient as possible and not inflate for possible excessive clinic usage, would the Town of Bluffton allow our pricing to have caps or cost pools on pharmacy and supplies? By way of example: We submit a bid that includes a total of X dollars per year for pharmacy costs. If the total pharmacy costs we incur are less than the X dollars, we would refund the Town the savings. If the total pharmacy costs per year were more than the X dollars, we would bill the Town the overage, with no marks.

Response: Addendum 1, Q&A, has been posted.

Question 11

Posted: 11/26/2024

Question: Could you clarify the information you are requesting on page 7, section B, bullet 2, regarding the 'Description of lab reports available'? Specifically, are you seeking details about the labs we offer, the types of reports each lab generates, or the options for accessing and formatting these reports?

Response: Addendum 1, Q&A, has been posted.

Question 12

Posted: 12/3/2024

Question: Please provide the breakdown of the no of employees, dependents, and retirees What is the anticipated go-live date for the clinic? Has the Town had a clinic in the past? Is there a preferred staffing model? Is the Town interested in an onsite clinic and a mobile clinic? Will the Town be interested in telemedicine services instead of a mobile clinic? Is there a budget set aside for the clinic? If so, what is the budget for 2025? Does the Town engage the services of a benefits consultant, and if yes, who is the consultant? Does the City require any services such as Behavioral health, Physical Therapy etc.? When will the bid be awarded?

Response: Addendum 1, Q&A, has been posted.
