Description: It is the intent of the Beaufort County Community Development Department to develop a Passive Park on acreages of land in southern Beaufort County adjacent to the Town of Bluffton and located near the Palmetto Bluffton community. The land is in the unincorporated area of Beaufort County, and it is within the political jurisdiction of the Beaufort County Council. The property was acquired into the Beaufort County Rural & Critical Lands Program in two separate purchases in the years 2006 and 2008 containing the total of 759.31 acres. The property is in a beautiful and pristine area of Southern Beaufort County and is very well suited for the development of a Passive Park.
